A Place I Love

A place I love is Kanasawa city, the capital of Ishikawa prefecture in Japan. Ishikawa prefecture is in the north of Chubu region, facing the Sea of Japan. Kanazawa city is the most popular destination in Ishikawa prefecture.

I have been to there twice and I believe it is a wonderful place, Higashi-chaya district, in particular, is a famous sightseeing spot that is well-known for historic architecture and street. The sceneries are absolutely brilliant. Additionally, food is quite delicious. We can enjoy eating fresh fish, Japanese sweets and soft-serve ice cream with gold leaf flake which are famous in Kanazawa.

My favourite spot in Kanazawa is 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art. It is a circle glass building and has many kinds of spectacular sculptures, drawings or works. I think you must feel amused. If you go to Kanazawa city, I would like to recommend that you visit them.

Picture above: this is a gate called Tsudumi-mon in front of Kanazawa station and many tourists take some photos here.
