Momoka Nakazawa

ABOUT ME

I am Momoka Nakazawa. I was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan. My family is father, mother, our loving dog, and I. My father works in a job related to travel, so both of my parents really like to travel and watch Western movies. They are the ones who influenced me with many things and I enjoy watching movies in my spare time, too. My favorite genres are SF and thrilling, especially ones set in the sea or space full of mystery.

Me hero is an English teacher in a high school I used to go to. She appeared in the play in many countries and she’s been to more than 30 countries. She always told us her funny experiences a lot and taught us English from scripts of movies or lyrics of music. Actually, I didn’t like study English before I went into high school, but I got interested and to like it thanks to her. I am going to see her after I go back to Japan and I want to talk with in English.

About Me

I was born in a small country in Southeast Asia, Thailand, and my parents have their own businesses. Indeed, I have many opportunities to observe people and I realised people always cause problems. From this point, I prefer to find an ordinary happiness.

Whenever I have my free time, I always spend my precious period reading books, especially novels. 

I do believe, no matter how long time has already passed, words still express the authors’ emotions clearly as reflections on mirrors. One of my favourite novels is The Traveling Cat Chronicles.

The other passion is playing with a lovely white stray cat named Shiro.
I met it by a coincidence after finishing from the final rehearsal for a festival of my university. Day by day, both of us became more intimate. Unfortunately, most of stray animals have their own genetic defects, so does Shiro. From this point, I couldn’t estimate how much time we left.

Based on the truth, somebody believes no matter how beautiful flowers are, people will ruin those beauties again.
On the other hand, a gear of destruction can be changed into
 a gear of creation as long as people nurture everything by love instead.

About me

Hello. I’m Asuka. I’m from Japan. I would like to introduce about my hobby.

When I have free time, I usually spend time cooking. There are two reasons for that. First, the smell of baking sweets and bread is heavenly. My kitchen is always filled with lovely smell when baking them, so I seem as if I’m in a bakery or a sweets shop. Second, I feel so happy whenever I could cook well. That’s why I like cooking.

I often bake some sweets or bread, in particular. After I searched an interesting recipe of them, I try to make. Sweets that I often make are earl grey flavour biscuits, banana pound cake, cupcakes with apple comport. Regarding bread, I’ve baked sweet kumara buns, sweet beans buns, sesame bread and cinnamon roll - Picture above; this is cinnamon roll fresh out of the oven.

In addition to that, I make Japanese or western food. For instance, I make rolling sushi. It is a little bit difficult to roll well, but it is fun. And also, I make pizza and quiche from dough of the bottom. The time when I think about the combination of ingredients suited pizza or quiche is amusing.

A current goal is that I bake a fluffy plain sponge cake perfectly. I have tried to make one several times, but I have not been able to do well yet. I think I need to not only get some tips to bake fluffy and smooth sponge cake but also practice more.

I would like to get many skills about cooking and be able to make various kinds of dishes.
