I would like to
introduce a great person that had a profound effect on me in this blog. The
person is my homeroom and English teacher when I was high school student. She have been my role model since I saw her
first time.
She spent for four
years in the UK and Belgium when she was little because of her father’s work,
and graduated same high school that I went to.
So, it was easy for me to imagine how to work as one of the woman and as
a member of society after graduating our high school when I am thinking about
my future.
If I did not meet
her, I will not be in here. She is
bilingual, so she speaks English fluently, and I thought I want to use the
language like her. I started to study
English hard from the time. Finally, I
graduated the high school with the top English score in my study course. And now, I am studying abroad in New Zealand
to have enough English skills to live in foreign countries.
It's interesting that one person inspired you to learn English language.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Kayo.Great to read that your teacher has been an inspiration to you. You have even gone one step ahead of her and learned English as an adult, when learning is more effortful, while she learned the language through growing up in an English-speaking country as a child. Well done you!
