English in the next 200 years

I think English will continue to be a global language, because USA has big economic power in today’s world and they use English. On the other hand, population of China and India is increasing every year and if their economic power exceeds USA’s one, it can be possible that Chinese or Hindi becomes global language. Even if English continue to be a global language, some changes will be happen like some easy words appear or difficult words disappear.

    I was convinced to your opinion that the power of language could be changed by the economical power. Also, it was interesting that you said the difficult words will disappear. I think they could remain,in order to meet the needs of describing complicated situation or used in some academical area.

    I think so too. But I think difficult English words should remain because we need them to express difficult situation like academic area.
