The adventure up to the mountain

When I was a child, I was a very active child so I often used to spend time with my older brother and my cousins who lived near my house climbing trees, making cardboard houses and so on. Especially, the most unforgettable thing was an adventure up to the mountain which is near our house.

When we were thinking about what to do that day, my brother proposed exploring the mountain to us. All of us strongly agreed with that so we went up the mountain. First of all, we entered a bamboo forest. At the time, there were lots of bamboo trees even though most of them have been destroyed now. After we went through the bamboo forest, suddenly a small dam appeared in front of us. The dam didn’t work but we were so excited because we did not know that there was such a treasure near our house. We stayed there for a while and found lots of nuts and plants.  When we were collecting some of them, we noticed that some monkeys were near us. They were surprised at us then and ran away.

As the sun was going down, we were about to go back to our house. However, we forgot the way we had walked. So we walked a different way. Then, my brother found a strange house. It was made with bamboo and trees. To investigate what it was, we entered the house slowly. Surprisingly, there was an easy-made toilet and a table. We guessed someone lived in it. After that we felt scared so we went another way quickly.

Finally, we could reach our house and tell the story to our parents. They did not believe it perfectly but definitely we had an amazing adventure!

Even now, this experience is an important treasure of me because it created my inquisitive child’s mind. I really want to visit these places again, of course with my brother and cousins.

Nine Lives Cats

            It is believed cats have nine lives because they can survive from many fatal situation, but where does the saying ‘cats have nine lives’ come from? Nobody really knows the origin of this myth, exactly, but there are number of possibilities - from William Shakespeare to ancient Egypt.     In the play Romeo and Juliet, the bard refers to the nine lives of cats. Meanwhile an old proverb of unknown origin claims: “A cat has nine lives. For three he plays, for three he strays and for the last three he stays.” In ancient Egypt, cat were treated as sacred animals and were worshiped as divine creatures with psychic or supernatural powers, so some think the myth could have originated there as if fits in with their view of cats. But, it’s more than likely that the myth has developed over time due to cats’ ability to get themselves out of sticky situations, with their agility and dexterity. Overtime, moggies have survived fall from great heights and even earthquakes, so it’s not surprising they have earned their nine lives title. In fact, like the rest of us, cats only have one life.

Unreachable Justice

            How can we make the wold better place? This question has been asking many times until nowadays. Some people believe that education will make people become more intelligent. Indeed, that is an undeniable idea, but everything in this world always has two sides both good and bad as does an education.

            A real pain in the neck is after people acquired more knowledge, some people might use their talents to create many pathways and solve a lot of problems ,e.g., some people choose to word as politicians and establish campaigns help people find their jobs. As a result, everyplace becomes more peaceful, and people will stay alive in the happy beautiful world. Such as a utopia idea. If people consider everything more carefully, they will acknowledge that education has a double-edge effect because knowledge can be used to find gaps in any laws, and greed shall be fulfilled ;as a consequence, a number of crime will gradually increase. Finally, the world will become the worst place.

            In fact, everything depends on points of views. In peaceful countries, many opportunities shall be offered by governments meanwhile less choices can be chosen in conflict countries. In addition, Some people might acknowledge committing a crime is illegal because of laws whilst some people might have no chance to learn what a crime is.

            In conclusion, the world shall have no opportunity to become better as long as people ignore a way to understand each other.

Desolation World

            Once in a blue moon, a new breeze was blown upon a tiny farm located among tranquil natural. A sound of crystal river was so beautiful as a rhythm from heaven. It was completely soft and kept all livings calm down. Furthermore, all flowers in the garden around the farm had already bloomed. Their colours made that place more wonderful. It could be said it was the most suitable place for new offspring.

Day by day, a new season had arrived, and all livings had always been waiting for this moment. That night was absolutely cold. The lonely moon on the sky was so brilliant as if it was a symbol of new souls. Indeed many new souls were brought into this world. Whenever new offspring were born, all animals always celebrated without any doubts. How could they nurture those lives? Obviously, love was the most important thing they needed.

The was a family consisted three goats ,i.e., a buck, a doe, and a buckling. The buckling wished this happiness shall remain forever. Unfortunately, there was an essential mission for a buck and a doe, so a buckling was left behind.
“When will you come back?” asked by a buckling.
“It will be a blink of an eye, my dear.” answered by a buck.
“Please, be patient and listen the others until we come back, okay?” added by a doe.
Time by time, a buckling had always watched and learnt how to stay alive among many lives. Even though no matter how many times it asked the others where its parents are, no one answers that question. That doubt made a hole in a little heart.
“Should I obey the others as my parents told me?”

Someday, that buckling had manged to sneak into a forbidden part of farm; as a result, an answer appeared. It knew suddenly that its parents will not come back anymore because all members in its family were sacrificed to some higher creatures as offerings. A lots of questions appeared in its head, so it decided to go back to take a rest. After coming back, it was told something significant. It had to prepare for some essential missions, as all members in its family did. It had realised that its family was nothing but only an offering, so it decided to escape from that unravel world in that night even though it had no idea what waiting in the future.

No matter how heartless people have become, I will never become like them.

No matter how rotten societies have turned into, I shall find my place.

No matter how cruel this world is, I wish to stay alive.

Cracking joints cause arthritis.
It common for some people that cracking your hand joints for example it damaging you health and bones, it actually a sound of a gas between the bones , so if you are enjoying doing that you don't need to stop, but if you feel pain then go and see a doctor.

In Japan and South Korea, many people believe that the blood types are related to our personalities. For example, blood type A tends to be thought of having a meticulous personality. However, there is no scientific evidence proving that. Acctually,  in 1971, Nomi Masahiko, who is a Japanese writer, published his book about blood type classification and after that the fortune-telling taking into account blood types became popular in Japan. That's why, Japanese and Korean tend to have the stereotype of blood types.

A Myth Debunked

In Japan, many people believe that if you want to be a taller, you should drink the milk.  The idea may have originated from that people who live in Scandinavia (Finland, Sweden and Denmark) is the tallest in the world, because they consume many dairy products in usual life.  The difference is approximately five times than Japanese people.

Some graph shows children’s average height in Japan is gradually taller than 1950s.  And, the researchers said one of the main reason is that a cup of milk is served with everyday school-provided lunch during primary school time.  They also mentioned the dairy products such as milk encourages to produce calcium, and as a result it is easier for kids to get taller.

However, it is myth.  The truth is that plenty of food affects the result.  Because, Japanese did not have enough food to grow after WWⅡ, but now we can access them everyday, everywhere.  What we need to be a taller is nutritious meal.  That’s itJ

A Myth Debunked

 

As the one of the Japanese sweets, there is Taiyaki, which is a fish-shaped pancake filled with bean jam. Some people believe certain traditions like superstitions about how to eat this sweet.

The traditions are below;

If we eat Taiyaki from the head, we will get smarter.

If we eat Taiyaki from the tail, our running skill will get better.

If we eat Taiyaki from the body, we will get a tough body.

I’m not sure that these are just commonly held perceptions about Taiyaki, but I have heard that most people have a tendency to think about these traditions when they eat it.

Actually, I often eat Taiyaki from the head when I eat it. One of the reasons is that I believe the traditions. In my case, however, the main reason is that the part of the head of Taiyaki tends to have more contents of bean jam than other parts.
