Hello.
I’m Asuka. I’m from Japan. I would like to introduce about my hobby.
When
I have free time, I usually spend time cooking. There are two reasons for that.
First, the smell of baking sweets and bread is heavenly. My kitchen is always
filled with lovely smell when baking them, so I seem as if I’m in a bakery or a
sweets shop. Second, I feel so happy whenever I could cook well. That’s why I
like cooking.
I often
bake some sweets or bread, in particular. After I searched an interesting
recipe of them, I try to make. Sweets that I often make are earl grey flavour biscuits,
banana pound cake, cupcakes with apple comport. Regarding bread, I’ve baked
sweet kumara buns, sweet beans buns, sesame bread and cinnamon roll - Picture
above; this is cinnamon roll fresh out of the oven.
In
addition to that, I make Japanese or western food. For instance, I make rolling
sushi. It is a little bit difficult to roll well, but it is fun. And also, I
make pizza and quiche from dough of the bottom. The time when I think about the
combination of ingredients suited pizza or quiche is amusing.
A
current goal is that I bake a fluffy plain sponge cake perfectly. I have tried
to make one several times, but I have not been able to do well yet. I think I
need to not only get some tips to bake fluffy and smooth sponge cake but also
practice more.
I
would like to get many skills about cooking and be able to make various kinds
of dishes.
